“We stayed at Riviere on Golden Beach for a week and it was really nice. The place had a medium size pool but comfortable for my children to play. a couple of mins walking distance to Spar for shopping, several cafes & restaurants. You can also drive 5 mins to Coles or Woolies. The view from the balcony was excellent. The apartment had all the equipment that you need. I can recommend to anyone who would like to stay here. The lady at the reception was very nice, too.”

“We have been staying here now 3 years in a row. The apartments are always clean, we love the location which overlooks the bay and is quieter than being at Kings Beach. If you like activities then this is the place to be with cheap hire close by of kayaks, paddle boards, tinny’s or small platoon boats, or just go fishing, etc. Its a 15 min walk to Bullcock Beach or a short drive to Kings Beach etc. The apartments overlook the Caloundra Inlet and the tip of Bribie Island which is picturesque with beautiful sunrises and sunsets and behind the apartments are the Glass House Mountains. The apartments has a pool too which is never crowded, or take a dip in the inlet and swim to the sandbar. The managers are always friendly and helpful. We have already booked for 2017. You have to purchase WiFi, but its reasonable and quite a few options.”

“We stayed here for 1 month in July and I can highly recommend it… We were very comfortable and well looked after.. We only had to mention a problem and it was instantly attended to.. The view was spectacular. The position was perfect.. We were able to walk in either direction including an easy walk to shops and cafes etc… Fresh bread, papers etc just a 5 minute walk.. Great coffee just across the road.. We will be back for sure…”

“This place is awesome!! Stop looking and book it. We stayed in the penthouse (10th floor) and would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat! Great for two small families one big family or a group of friends – long or short stay. 4 showered (2 over spas baths) 3 toilets. Great living area and fully decked out kitchen. Excellent views and Michelle is lovely!!”

“Now I know you’re looking for negatives so I’ll start with them first… No air-conditioning… That’s it. The only negative is no air-conditioning!.
We stayed 9th floor – Room 923. The rooms are extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly require for any length of stay. Furniture and styling was comfortable, presentable and we’ll maintained. The apartment is spacious with fantastic living spaces. So big!!. The views are spectacular. The twinkling lights over yonder towards Caloundra central, the northern tip of Bribie, the vast horizon views. Walk directly onto the beach in front. Take a two minute walk to grocery stores, restaurants and more. Great stay, great location, will be back for sure… Just needs air-conditioning!”

“This is our third stay at Riviere on Golden Beach and it was great. We stayed a week in Unit 922 through both beautiful weather and cyclonic conditions. Slight problem with water during heavy wind but not anything a couple of well placed towels couldn’t fix. 6 days out of 7 were fantastic, pool was well used. The barbeque area is well set up and very clean. We used this area for a family gathering of 13 and had lots of room and enough chairs for everyone. Michelle and Brian are excellent hosts and willing to help should there be a problem. Caloundra is an easy enjoyable walk away. And of course there is the view – perfect.”

“Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Brian and Michelle, managers, were wonderful and accommodating. The unit (number 17) was lovely, spacious and modern. Beautiful view of the canal and in walking distance to a near by park and SPAR grocery store. Beds were comfortable and the spa bath and 2nd shower were large. Everything you could possibly want and more in the kitchen. Everything was easy assessable and even had a beach umbrella and chairs. Pool area is lovely and a spacious bbq area you could use. Parked our Toyota RAV 4 comfortable with ample room on either side. Can’t wait to go back next year, this time though we hope to stay longer than just the weekend”

“Excellent position with great views of Pumicestone Passage and Caloundra. Great boardwalk on your doorstep. Organized a group of 16 adults booked Penthouse & 2 x 2brms. Clean & spacious rooms, well equipped kitchens & comfortable beds. The lift is quick. The grounds well maintained. Café & coffee shop across the road. Definitely suited our requirements. It would suit couples & families also.”

“We stayed here for 2 nights the rooms was a modern and very spacious and great view overlooking the sea. The entry is via a dead-end street so its very quiet at night. Would think this Resort would suit family’s it has full-sized kitchen pay-tv spa bath and the rooms were very clean.”

“Just returned from a long week-end (3 nights) staying at the Riviere on Golden Beach. We arrived after work on Friday and Brian was there to greet us and check us in. We unpacked and then spent a lovely evening on the balcony of unit 717 on the 7th floor. The view is just beautiful overlooking the Pumicestone Passage and the northern tip of Bribie Island – not to mention Caloundra and Golden Beach. Our unit was very well appointed. We were in a 2 bedroom unit but as we only required one, the second bedroom, toilet and bathroom were closed and not used. The queen bed was very comfortable. There is no Air Conditioning available but the fans and the breeze were ample even though it was quite warm at night. The kitchen is well stocked with everything that we needed. The only fault we could find there was the placement of the sink – it was very tight but we could have used the dishwasher but really would not have been able to justify as we didn’t have a lot of dishes to wash. The pool area is beautiful and the water temperature was perfect. There is a park very close by with covered picnic tables, bar-be-ques and children’s playgrounds as well as toilets. A jetty for fishing is also very close. All in all it is a beautiful place for a quick getaway, family holiday, retirement well anything really. We will happily be back!!”

“We recently stayed at this property in the penthouse for eight days for a family reunion. This apartment has spectacular views of the ocean and the passage. The apartment has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and very large kitchen/dining lounge rooms. Very spacious. The views not only of the ocean and passage but the glasshouse mountains from the kitchen and back bedrooms are amazing. The pool and pool area are sheltered and screened from the surrounding hotels by lovely garden and tree areas. The weather was brilliant and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. We are definitely returning to this property for our next family holiday”

“And it rained from our arrival until the morning of our departure, where the sun was shining over the wonderful scenery of the Bribie Passage. We had a family bonding which could not have asked for a more delightful venue than our two bed apartment. The balconies are huge, magic for dining al fresco watching the cruise liners and cargo vessels coast by in the shipping lane into Brisbane.. Shops just across the road,clubs with complimentary transport, and even a sandy beach outside the door. Furnished comfortably,with most everything for your stay, security locks throughout and your own parking spot. A little light on tissues in the bathrooms and toilet paper but apart these units are great and we will return. Thanks Michelle and Brian”

“If you’re after a relaxing holiday in Caloundra then consider Riviere! The apartment was large, clean and we spent most of our time on the big balcony admiring the view. Beach has beautiful clear water! I recommend walking 5 minutes up the beach and hiring a kayak from a friendly American. We stayed in November (off season) so the pool was always empty. Compared to nearby resorts where the pool was always very busy, Riviere’s was quiet and easy to relax in. The managers are SO friendly and have plenty of brochures for attractions close by. There are a few takeaway shops, bottle shop and bakery across the road as well which was very handy. Only negatives are there was no air-con and no outdoor spa (although the apartment did have a big spa bath).”

“Have just returned from our stay at Riviere. The apartment complex is located right on the Esplanade overlooking Pumicestone Passage. The apartments are very spacious, extrememly well equipped and maintained with a lovely pool and bbq area. The apartments all have lovely big balconies and a spa bath. The only downfall of the apartment is there is no air conditioning to make for a more pleasant stay.”

“Have just returned from our second stay at Riviere. It is a small apartment complex located right on the Esplanade overlooking Pumicestone Passage. The apartments are very spacious, extrememly well equipped and carefully maintained with a lovely pool and bbq area. The apartments all have lovely big balconies and a spa bath. We visit Caloundra quite often to visit family and this is the best place we have found over the years. The onsite managers do a great job keeping the place spotless. Highly recommended.”
